CivilTech Congratulates Three Associates on Recent Promotions

January 2019 – CivilTech Engineering, Inc. (CivilTech) is pleased to announce the recent promotions of now Executive Vice President Darrell Kaderka, P.E., Vice President of Transportation Paul Baxter, P.E. and Senior Project Manager Curtis White, P.E.

These well-deserved promotions are in line with CivilTech’s continued commitment in providing superior technical quality work,” said President Melvin Spinks. “The expertise and professionalism they bring is essential in our commitment and our dedication to project success.”

Darrell Kaderka, PE was promoted to Executive Vice President. In this role, Darrell leads our transportation division and is responsible for management oversight and operations, providing schematic design, design development, PS&E, and CEI for roadway, highway and bridge projects statewide. Clients include Harris County, Fort Bend County, Galveston County, City of Houston, and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Darrell celebrated 20 years of his more than 28-year career with CivilTech in 2018.

Paul Baxter, PE, now Vice President of Transportation, also celebrated a milestone in 2018 for 10 years of service with CivilTech. He has vast experience in designing and preparing PS&E for highways, bridges, and roadways. Paul’s responsibilities include internal and external project coordination, project scheduling and management, construction estimating and bid preparation, quality control and quality assurance, staff management and development, and business development.

Curtis White, PE, Senior Project Engineer, has more than 10 years’ experience in roadway and drainage design. He is responsible for engineering design and the preparation of PS&E for civil, roadway, and drainage engineering projects for clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation and City of Houston.
